| Reports | Superintendent’s Report: Dr. Offermann announced
the beginning of the school’s 126th year and the 100th
year anniversary of the library; the school’s present enrollment is 2779
with 2710 being the anticipated official enrollment; the retirement of
Administrator Dr. Frank Danes and the resignation of Administrator Dr.
Suzanne Casey as of June 30, 1999; the winning of the Technology Literacy
Challenge Grant in the amount of $135,000 written by faculty member Bob
McBride; Fermilab’s ARISE Grant in the amount of $32,000; and the following
academic outcomes:
SAT 1202 (the highest score in the history of Oak Park and River Forest High School) IGAP (relatively the same as last year in the various categories) The Board Members reported on their various Board Committee
and liaison representative responsibilities.
