What Does it Take to be a Huskie?
CS-02 Boys’ Soccer
Grades: 10-12

Dates: Summer 2008: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; July 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 (Monday & Wednesday 14 Sessions)
A comprehensive seven-week program (different than 2007 camp) focusing on a variety of soccer skills, techniques, and tactics in relation to the 6 Principles of Huskie Soccer. Each camp day will have a specific theme. The camp day will be broken down into the following components: fundamentals of the theme, match related scenarios of the theme, and implementation of the theme in game conditions. Each camp session will end with an intensive speed agility training session that is specifically geared for the soccer athlete. The last four sessions will involve 9v9 games with other local high school teams. The camp is staffed with OPRFHS soccer coaches and other nationally certified trainers. Every camper will receive a camp t-shirt and camp soccer ball. This camp will prepare you for the next level of Huskie Soccer History—be prepared to work like a Huskie!

Future Big Dogs
BSC-01 Future Big Dogs Huskie Soccer Camp
Grades: 7th grade- 9th grade (incoming Freshman)

Dates: Summer 2008: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; July 2, 7, 9, 14 (Monday & Wednesday 11 Sessions)
A comprehensive six-week program focusing on a variety of soccer skills, techniques, and tactics. The 6 Principles of Huskie Soccer will be introduced during this camp. Each camp day will have a specific theme. The camp day will be broken down into the following components: fundamentals of the theme, match related scenarios of the theme, and implementation of the theme in game conditions. Each camp session will end with an intensive speed agility training session that is specifically geared for the soccer athlete (30 minutes). The camp is staffed with varsity athletes, OPRFHS soccer coaches and other nationally certified trainers. Every camper will receive a camp t-shirt and soccer ball. (Incoming 9th graders will be invited to participate in 3 additional sessions of playing 9v9 against other local HS teams.) This camp will demonstrate the passion and heart of Huskie Soccer—be prepared to work like a Huskie!

OPRFHS Goalie Camp
CS-01 Coed Huskies Goalie Soccer Camp
Grades: 9th-12 Only

Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Dates: Summer 2008: June 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 July 2
TThe OPRFHS Goalkeeping Camp will provide goalkeepers the opportunity to advance their abilities through a wide range of technical sessions. These sessions will be available to all ability levels, from elementary through advanced. The camp will take goalkeepers through a series of exercises designed to increase strength, reflexes, handling, footwork, and other goalkeeping specialties. At the end of the camp each goalkeeper will have knowledge of many goalkeeping drills that will be useful in improving their goalkeeping abilities. Topics covered: Techniques—catching, diving, distribution, breakaways, taking crosses. Tactics—angle of play, dead ball sits, decision making. Conditioning—warm up, footwork, speed/agility. Psychology—confidence, being scored on, sportsmanship, leading your defense.
