C.A.S.T. Celebrates 30 Years with Special Alumni Performances

CAST, the performing arts program at Percy Julian Middle School, celebrated its 30th anniversary year in 2016 with a special presentation of "The Trip to Bountiful" at Open Door Theater in Oak Park. It featured CAST staff, parents and alumni who have participated in the program since its debut in the 1985-86 school year. Eleven performances were presented between May 13 and 29.

This special production of Horton Foote’s classic play about finding HOME celebrates the 30 YEARS that the CAST Program of Julian Middle School has found a HOME in our community. Featuring alums from the first years of the program along with some of its most recent graduates, this unique play shares a powerful message to people of all ages; there is nothing more extraordinary than the march of ordinary existence.
