Marching Band takes second place at prestigious competition

September 9, 2012

Congratulations to the Marching Huskies, the OPRF marching band, who over the weekend won second place in their class (AA) at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Marching Jamboree competition. This was the Huskies' first appearance at the long-running competition, which showcases the some of the best marching bands in the greater Chicago area; bands compete in classes based on their size.

If you haven't yet seen the marching band, you can catch them at this week's home football game, against York. And wish them luck as they compete once again this weekend, at the Wheaton North Falcon Marching Competition.
