Notice of Destruction of Permanent Student Records

In accordance with the Illinois School statute, Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 is giving notice that all Permanent Records of students last enrolled in the district before July 1, 1949 will be destroyed. Student Permanent records are retained for sixty (60) years after the student has left the district. All records currently over sixty (60) years old will be destroyed September 1, 2014.

Parents, guardians and the former student have the right to review and to receive a copy of such records at any time prior to the destruction of such records. Review of the records can be requested by contacting Pam Jansen, Administrative Assistant to CSBO at 708-434-3278 or pjansen@oprfhs.org.
