OPRF fair exposes students to dozens of future career paths

December 18, 2012

The OPRF counseling department recently hosted the 2012 Career Exploration Fair in advance of kicking off the course-selection process for juniors. This was a repeat of the hugely successful effort from last year. At the fair, career and technical education classes from across the school met with more than 60 representatives from career areas that included engineering and industrial technology, hospitality, health services, marketing and finance, arts and broadcasting, public service, information technologies, and education and human services. Area colleges were included, as were several representatives from our own faculty and staff. Check out a video of the event, created by our own TV students.
