Dear OPRFHS Senior Families,
We wanted to reach out and communicate to you regarding graduation cap and gown fees. After reflecting on the timing of our decision, and the confusion related to the additional $27 fee that would be charged to senior families, we have made the decision that the district will fully cover this expense for all seniors this year. In future years, the cap and gown fee will be included in the senior registration fees.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and hope that this decision may alleviate some of the extra stress or burden that families may have been facing as a result of this decision.
Where do we go from here?
We have sent a Google form to your senior at their OPRFHS email address. Only their OPRFHS Google account can open the form. Please have your student access the form (or provide their login and password so that you can access it) and answer the seven questions. All information that is collected is being used by Jostens strictly for sizing purposes and will not be shared in any other form.
Here is the Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1tVTEnRRhQuAQVOFxnwr6gSn7FBOUagWz9vRgLMQ7cqw/edit.
For those seniors who choose not to access their OPRF email account, Jostens will be available in the Student Activities Center on December 10 and 11 to help guide students through the registration process. We are asking that all seniors be registered before January 10, 2019, to ensure timely delivery of the caps and gowns.
If you have already signed into Jostens website and have paid the $27 fee, you will be fully reimbursed. Please note: We still need you or your student to register on the Google form.
