Verify residency by May 15 to avoid student schedule being pulled

May 14, 2013

If you did not provide residency verification documents for your student(s) during our recent residency-verification week, please know that we require such documentation for all students who will attend OPRFHS next school year, including all current students, freshmen through juniors. The District decided to institute an annual verification of residency for all students to help ensure that only students who legally reside within the District’s boundaries receive educational services funded by District tax dollars.

Families have until Wednesday, May 15 to provide residency documents. Students who have not provided the required documentation by May 15, 2013, will have their 2013-2014 class schedules pulled, and their course selections will be deleted. We will continue to accept residency paperwork after May 15. However, students who have not completed the enrollment and residency verification process will need to re-register for classes, either before the end of this school year or once counselors return in mid-August. Given that many courses are at capacity, students whose schedules are pulled may not be able to get back into all their desired courses.

Online Enrollment
Online enrollment needs to be completed prior to presenting residency verification documents. Each OPRFHS student in your family, including any student currently attending the high school, needs to be enrolled at If you need access to a computer, one is available our Welcome Center (just inside the Main Entrance) Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you feel you cannot complete this process for any reason please contact the Registrar: or 708-434-3260.
