THANK YOU to the Class of '47, the Class of '58, the Class of '68, the Class of '73, the Class of '78, and the Class of '88 for your donations to our Summer Enrichment Grant program. Reunions that took place in 2008 are summarized below.
The Alumni Association of Oak Park & River Forest High School was organized in 2002 by a group of local alumni for the benefit of both former and current students.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for ALUMNI to maintain and enhance connections with their classmates and the OPRFHS community. These include websites and E-Bulletins, a NEWSLETTER mailed to our donor members three times per year and FINANCIAL AID through our Summer Enrichment Grants to current high school students to help them participate in a wide variety of educational enrichment programs.
Your donation will help enrich the lives of current OPRFHS students. Please support us - we depend entirely on tax-deductible membership CONTRIBUTIONS and other donations from the community to fund our operations. To make a donation to the Alumni Association, visit our website www.oprfalumni.com

HOMECOMING 2009 will be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2009. Reunion plans are underway for a number of classes - check back for updated information. Please get in touch with us if you know of reunion plans not listed here, or if you're interested in helping a reunion committee, or if you need additional contact information than what is listed here.

1944 - The class of 1944 has planned a 65th year Reunion Luncheon taking place on Friday, September 18 at the Renaissance (Marriott) Hotel beginning at 11:30 with cash bar continuing until 5:00 PM. 1954 - The class of 1954 will hold a 55th year reunion on Friday - Saturday, October 9 & 10 with Friday evening at Molly Malone's and a casual dinner on Saturday at Oak Park Country Club. The committee includes Paul Keeshin, Mary Landreth, Larry Weltin and Joyce Stockholm. 1959 - A 50th anniversary reunion celebration is in the works to take place over the weekend of October 23 - 24, 2009, with a Friday night cocktail party and Saturday dinner at the Carleton Hotel. 1969 - A casual 40th Reunion will take place over Homecoming Weekend. Plans include a gathering on Saturday evening, October 3 at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn. Nearly 150 classmates are already planning to attend, please help spread the word. They've set up a website at oprfclassof69/myevent.com. 1974 - There's a reunion in the works set for September 11 - 12, 2009 including a Friday night gathering at Molly Malone's. Daytime and evening events for Saturday are planned as well. The committee includes Ann Marie Cavanagh Barry and Sue Porch Short and welcome others to join them, particularly to help set up a website. 1979 - Calling all '79 Doopers! A committee has formed and is working on plans for a 30 year reunion over Homecoming weekend including Saturday, Oct 3 at Fitzgerald's on Roosevelt Rd. 1984 - There's a 25th year reunion celebration in the works for the Class of 1984. Chris Dumelle and other '84 grads are starting to make plans for a reunion on Saturday, OCTOBER 3 and they've set up a page on Facebook for classmates. 1989 - Save the Date and Spread the Word! The 20th reunion will be Saturday evening, OCTOBER 3 at Healy's Westside in Forest Park! Boys LACROSSE Alumni Match Odds vs. Evens - Saturday, JUNE 27, 2009 for the Third Annual Alumni Game. Game starts a 12:00 noon in the OPRFHS Stadium, pregame begins at 11:00 am. Join former lacrosse players of ALL AGES and play another game for the Orange and Blue! Fee of $40 (cash or checks only) includes alumni shorts, trainer, referee and post-game BBQ. Boys SOCCER Alumni Match - Save the Date - Saturday, JULY 25, 2009 for the First Annual beginning at 6:00 PM in the OPRFHS Stadium. Join former soccer players of ALL AGES and play another game for the Orange and Blue! Donations requested - proceeds will support the OPRFHS soccer program. Please register by July 1. HOMECOMING 2010 is scheduled for the weekend of October 9, 2010. It's not too early to begin planning - - we'd love to hear from those of you who might be starting to plan 2010 reunions. Water Polo Alumni Match - on Saturday, November 29 Men's Water Polo alumni gathered for the 2nd Annual Paul Eckenroad '77 Memorial Water Polo BOWL in the OPRFHS East Pool followed by a party at O'Sullivans Pub in Forest Park. Proceeds benefit the Huskie aquatics programs. More details are available HERE
