The Alumni Association of Oak Park & River Forest High School was organized in 2002 by a group of local alumni for the benefit of both former and current students. Our goal is to provide opportunities for ALUMNI to maintain and enhance connections with their classmates and the OPRFHS community.
To make a donation to support the Alumni Association, visit our website www.oprfalumni.com We depend entirely on tax-deductible membership CONTRIBUTIONS and other donations from the community to fund our operations.
These include a NEWSLETTER mailed to our donor members three times per year and FINANCIAL AID through our Summer Enrichment Grants to current high school students to help them participate in a wide variety of educational enrichment programs.

HOMECOMING 2008 has passed and it was a beautiful day. We appreciate all the wonderful help from folks on the Reunion Committees as well as students and school staff who helped with many events. Details on the events of that day including can be found at the News & Events Link.

1978 - Celebrate a 30 year reunion on Saturday, OCT 11 at THE BARN in Willowbrook. Cost is $60 per person (by Sept 1) or $75 at the door and includes buffet dinner and beer/wine/soda. 1973 - A 35 year reunion event is upcoming on Saturday evening, NOVEMBER 8 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. 1941 - Their Second Annual Reunion Luncheon at Oak Park Country Club is on Saturday, OCTOBER 11. The socializing begins at 12:30 with lunch served at 1:00 PM. You'll have a chance to meet OPRFHS Superintendent, Dr. Weninger, who will be the featured speaker. Water Polo Alumni Match - Save the Date - Saturday, November 29, 2008 for the 2nd Annual Paul Eckenroad '77 Memorial Water Polo Bowl beginning at 11 AM in the OPRFHS East Pool. Suggested donation is $20 with proceeds going to Huskie aquatics programs. More details HERE (scroll down the page)

1952 - The class of 1952 is planning a mini-reunion for February 14, 2009 in Naples, Florida at the home of Chatka Busck Ruggiero. 1959 - A 50th anniversary reunion celebration is in the works to take place over Homecoming 2009 in October 2009.
1969 - Lynn Stewart Ryan and other '69ers are planning a casual 40th Reunion for 2009. We will post additional information when available, in the meantime please contact the Alumni Office and we can put you in touch with Lynn.
Boys SOCCER Alumni Match - Save the Date - Saturday, JULY 25, 2009 for the First Annual beginning at 6:00 PM in the OPRFHS Stadium. Join former soccer players of ALL AGES and play another game for the Orange and Blue! Donations requested - proceeds will support the OPRFHS soccer program. Please register by July 1.
