CANCELING OR RE-SCHEDULING
IF YOU NEED TO RE-SCHEDULE OR CANCEL A LAB, PLEASE
CONTACT US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
There are some periods during the day and week that we have a waiting
list. We will notify ISIT
Division Head and you division regarding no shows.
II. LAB AVAILABILITY DURING STUDY HALLS & LUNCH
Students may use the labs during Study Halls, Lunch, or
Resource.
However, students must have their student I.D.
and check into the lab before the bell rings. A student MUST have a valid OPRFHS ID in
order to utilize the labs during Study Hall or Lunch. Students MUST check in and either sign
in or be scanned into the lab prior to getting on any of the computers. They currently enter via Room 364 or
367, check in at the Desk with the Lab Assistant, show their ID, and sign the
log sheet prior to the bell ringing.

SENDING
STUDENTS TO LABS
-When you are sending a student to the library or the Academic Computing Center (Rooms 364-366-367/412/414) please use an official multi-purpose pass form- not a napkin, not a corner of their homework, not a post it note, not the back of an assignment - passes are available in the mailroom- be sure to fill out the pass completely- student name(s), date, time, destination and a signature we can read.
-If you are sending more than 1-2 students during any one
period, please call first to certain that there is space available. If you need to have us call you,
to let you know they have arrived, notate it. If you want the student to return during
the class period, please note it. Please help us manage student traffic in the halls and be
certain that students are where they belong.
IV. STUDY HALL/DROP-IN STUDENTS
a. Must be in the lab with their
I.D. before the bell rings, give I.D. to Lab Assistant, scanned

b. If student does NOT have
their I.D., and return – they MUST have a pass from a
teacher
c. If student comes to lab after
bell, must have PASS and I.D. in order to check into the
lab.

teachers via mailboxes

going to mail room
b. IF notes or scraps of paper,
put in Library mailbox (put some passes in teachers box ….. for future

working on computers.
1. If working on a project, must
be doing so without disturbing others or class.
2. Students should exit from the
outer doors from the room they are in.
e. NO GAMES, CHAT ROOMS,
Inappropriate sites allowed.

NO CD
players, headphones, cell phones, or hats

them to put away
2. Otherwise, bag it policy is
enforced
g. NO passes are given to
students by the Lab Assistants except:
1. giving the student their pass
from their teacher to return to class.
2. pass to the nurse
3. No passes to locker, ICC,
teacher, etc.
4. If Lab is full, a pass back to their
study hall will be issued
5. If the student has had
technology problems, a pass may be
issued to their next class.
VI.
Teachers must be in the lab with their classes.
VII.
Substitute teachers may NOT bring a class to the library or labs. The
only exception is LONG-TERM SUB with a class for more than 5 consecutive
days.
VII.
Student
Teachers bringing a class to the lab should be accompanied by their cooperating
teacher.
