parent of a music student is a CTA
Member.
CTA's Mission ... Service & Scholarships
Service. CTA parent volunteers contribute in many ways to the success of the music program ... ushering and providing refreshments at concerts, fitting tuxedos and marching band uniforms, publishing a newsletter, preparing mailings, organizing recognition banquets, and much more.
Scholarships. The CTA holds several fundraisers each year so music students can earn money to use for music expenses - like instrument purchase or repairs, private lessons, sheet music, music camp, and music trips. A music account is maintained for each music student for use until graduation.
