EARLY LEARNING CENTER AT ORRFHS

 

Philosophy:

 Our philosophy is to provide participants with a safe, caring, and educational environment which can help each child to achieve his/her full intellectual and emotional potential. This foundation should provide the necessary tools for building meaningful, healthy, and productive lives.

 

Staff Education:

The Center’s Site Director has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is a former Pre-Kindergarten teacher. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. The majority of teachers either have a bachelor’s degree or are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. All staff attend professional development in-service programs monthly.

 

Ratio:
           Infants to Teacher is 4 to 1
           Toddlers and Twos to Teacher is 5 to1
           Preschooler to Teacher is 10 to 1

 

 

Programs and tuition are subject to change at the discretion of the River Forest Community Center.
