The
mission of the Community Support Program of the Oak Park and River Forest High
School is to provide psychological support for youth as they negotiate the
social, emotional, and academic tasks of adolescence.
The Community Support Program, a collaboration between the high school and community agencies, offers school-based assessment and referral, crisis stabilization, and psycho-education. Serving as a “bridge” between the school and community, the Community Support Program also links youth and their families to resources within the community. Ultimately, the goal of the Community Support Program is to assist in the establishment of stronger, more cohesive families and communities
