IPods or other music players MAY NOT be used in the halls during the passing periods. Use in classrooms, labs or other areas is at the discretion of the teacher or supervisor. Board of Education policy prohibits the use of cell phones on campus between 7:45 a.m. and 3: 15 p.m. Phones should remain in your locker during the school day.
Attention Juniors and Seniors Receiving Awards Tonight
If you are a student being recognized tonight in the Honors Convocation please be present to receive your award or scholarship, if you cannot attend please stop by Room 174 and let Ms. Brown know immediately.

This is your last chance to buy a senior t-shirt! They will be on sale today, tomorrow and Thursday in front of the Student Activity Center. The cost is $10. Don't be left out!
Italian Exchange Spring 2009
Interested students who will be enrolled in Italian 5/6 through AP next year are invited to attend an informational meeting with your parents Wednesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 370. Please see Ms. Spilotro in Room 381 if you have any questions.
Memorial Day Flower Sale
On Thursday morning, B.O.S.S. will be selling carnations in the Student Center and cafeterias from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. for $1 in remembrance and in honor of living memories at the High School. Proceeds will be donated to local charity. Your support is appreciated.
Studio 200
Come see the final Studio 200 performance for this year, “Greater Tuna” this Tuesday at 4pm, Wednesday at 7pm and Thursday at 4pm. Tickets are $5 at the door so come on down!
Volunteer Opportunity
The Oak Park Public Library is offering a new volunteer program for teenagers this summer that will build your skills, engage your talents, and allow you to give back to the community. Apply by Thursday, May 22. More information is available on the Library's website and copies of the application are at the Welcome Center and Student Activities Center.
CLUB CORNER
B.O.S.S. Organization
The last meeting of the B.O.S.S. Club for this school year is Friday during periods 4 & 6 in the Student Activity Office. Members are asked to arrive promptly. Swearing in of Executive Committee's officers, farewell remarks, and awarding of plaques are on schedule. Come out and say "goodbye" to senior members. All members are requested to attend.
Cheerleading Tryouts
Cheerleading tryouts for the 08-09 team will be held from June 11 through June 14. If you are planning to try out for the cheer team but missed last week's tryout meetings, be sure to pick up a tryout packet from the Athletic Department!
Chemistry Club
We will meet in Room 134 on Wed., May 21 at 7:20 a.m. for the silver mirror experiment. Bring a small clean glass jar with a lid.
Colorguard
If you would enjoy dancing and performing at football games, then come check out the 2007-2008 Colorguard informational clinic/rehearsal on Thursday, May 22 at 4:15 p.m. Practice will go no later than 7:00 p.m. Come check it out! No previous experience needed. (A. Svedja)

Dudes Makin' a Difference will meet Wednesday morning in Room 341 at 7:15 a.m. Come to plan upcoming events including our frisbee tournament.

Huskie Athletic Council is meeting tomorrow at 7:20 a.m. in Room 174.
Interested in tryout out for OPRF Drill Team?
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in trying out for the Drill Team held on May 28 in Room 363 at 3:15 p.m. There will be information on requirements and the schedule for tryouts. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Neuman in Room 487.
Skateboarders
Hey all you skateboarders come to the Skateboard Club BBQ at Burnham Park by the lake Saturday, May 24! All permission slips are due Wednesday, May 21, so come see Ms. Heider in Room 331 ASAP to get those forms.
Spoken Word Club Open Meeting
Everyone is welcome to attend our final two meetings. Today, Adam Levin from University of Wisconsin will be performing and leading a workshop at 3:20 p.m. in Room 370.

Sophomore Boys' Basketball
Anyone interested in trying out for the sophomore boys' basketball team next season should attend an important today at 3:30 p.m. in the Monogram Room. If you cannot attend, please contact Coach Maloney.
Boys’ Cross Country
There will be an information meeting on summer running, running camps, and time to break a few eggs. We will meet on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Monogram Room. It promises to be an exciting 2008-09 season.
Interested in playing Football next year?
There will be free play on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 a.m. in the Field House. All are welcome to attend.
Intramural Softball
OPRF will be holding its inaugural end of the year Softball tournament on May 30 and 31. Pick up your informational sheet in Room 174 today. The Registration deadline to sign your team up is May 28. Space is limited so sign up today.
