Come to an informational meeting for students AND parents for all interested in the new theatre season! It's next Tuesday night, at 7:00 p.m., in the Little Theatre. Auditions for the first Little Theatre production, Godspell, will be Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3 after school. Please come to Mrs. Bayer's room, 287, to sign up for an audition time. All students are welcome to audition for this musical with music by Stephen Schwartz who also wrote the music for the current hit Wicked. (M. Bayer)

Calling all singers, musicians, and dancers interested in gospel music. There will be an information meeting next Wednesday in Room 204 promptly at 4pm. All are welcome.

Orchesis Dance Company Auditions
Orchesis Dance Company will be holding their annual auditions for the fall and spring seasons next week on Sept. 2, 3, and 4 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 3:15 to 5:00 pm each day in the 3rd floor Dance Studio. You have to come to all three days of auditions in order to be eligible for the company. Please come ready to dance! If you have any more questions, ask Ms. Riner.

If you've ever wondered about stage crew, the students who do all of the backstage work for the school's plays, musicals, dance concerts, music concerts, and 100 more events, then come to an informational meeting next Tuesday OR Wednesday, at 3:15 p.m. in the auditorium. All are welcome, and no experience is necessary! There's work for all in construction, lighting, painting, sound design, and props...so come and find out the details!

Independent Study request forms for the fall 2008 semester are available in Room 373. Completed forms should be turned into Room 373 by September 5, 2008.

TestWatch TestPrep is running test prep classes at the high school to prepare you for the October 25 ACT and/or the November 1 SAT. Deadline to register is September 5. Classes begin September 11 for ACT and September 17 for SAT. Register online at www.twtp.com or pick up registration forms in Room 373.

The OPRF Huskie Football team kicks off their 2008 campaign tonight in Elk Grove against Elk Grove High School. Sophomores begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Varsity at 7:30 p.m. Wear your orange & blue and come out and support the Huskies.
IntramuralsIntramural basketball and badminton sign up from September 3 through September 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Field House corridor. Students will need their student ID and $10 to register for the fall quarter. So get your teams together and let (R. Baker)
