ACTSO Club
ACTSO will meet in Room 272 on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., starting this week. We will be auditioning at the first two meetings and discussing an opportunity to perform for the Community Festival of Foods Program being held on Saturday, September 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Ascension Church. If you've ever wondered about stage crew, the students who do all of the backstage work for the school's plays, musicals, dance concerts, music concerts, and 100 more events, then come to an informational meeting today at 3:15 p.m. in the auditorium. All are welcome, and no experience is necessary! There's work for all in construction, lighting, painting, sound design, and props...so come and find out the details!

Topics to be covered include using Naviance in your college search, college applications and deadlines, essay writing, letters of recommendation, and transcripts. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a “jump start” on your college applications!

TestWatch TestPrep is running test prep classes at the high school to prepare you for the October 25 ACT and/or the November 1 SAT. Deadline to register is September 5. Classes begin September 11 for ACT and September 17 for SAT. Register online at www.twtp.com or pick up registration forms in Room 373.
