CLUB CORNER
All Freshmen
All freshmen students are welcome to join the Freshman Class Council. Our first meeting is Tuesday morning at 7:20 a.m. in Room 287. We will be planning our year including: Homecoming, Pack-the-Place and Adopt-a-Family. Come be part of this leadership and service club.
Art Club
Art Club will hold our first meeting on Tuesday Sept. 9 at 3:10 p.m. in Room 318 We will plan activities and projects for the year. (S. Campbell)

The Debate Club will meet on Monday after school in Room 174. (D. Song)
MADG is back
The Manga Anime Drawing and Gaming Club is back again this year! Be there Monday after school in Room 329. Come and meet this year’s all new officers. New members are welcome. (A. Stanis)
Model UN
Any students who are interested in participating in Model UN/Invisible Children club this year are encouraged to attend an informational meeting in Room 357 on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:30 a.m. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Silver.

Attention SADD Club members and potential members. The Students Against Destructive Decisions, or SADD Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday, September 10 at 7:25 a.m. in the morning in Room 246. Please come by and see what is happening this year, bring new members and friends!
Scholastic Bowl
Mark your calendars. The first practice of the year will be held one week from next Monday, September 15 at 3:10 p.m. in Room 132. All interested students are invited to attend. If you like Jeopardy or just playing trivia games, Scholastic Bowl is for you! We practice every Monday and compete with all schools in the West Suburban Conference and a number of schools in Northern Illinois. See you on the 15! (M. Rubinow)

September 9. Pick-up a registration packet in the counselor’s offices or apply on-line.

The Counselors will hold an important meeting on the College Application Process next Tuesday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. Parents and seniors are strongly encouraged to attend. Topics to be covered include using Naviance in your college search, college applications and deadlines, essay writing, letters of recommendation, and transcripts. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a “jump start” on your college applications!

TestWatch TestPrep is running test prep classes at the high school to prepare you for the October 25 ACT and/or the November 1 SAT. The deadline to register is today. Classes begin September 11 for ACT and September 17 for SAT. Register online at www.twtp.com or pick up registration forms in Room 373.

OPRF Football
The OPRF Football team plays tonight at Willowbrook High School. The Sophomores begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Varsity at 7:30 p.m.
IntramuralsIntramural basketball and badminton sign up from September 3 through September 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Field House corridor. Students will need their student ID and $10 to register for the fall quarter. So get your teams together and let (R. Baker)

Huskie Wrestling is having open gym each Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Wrestling Room, starting September 9. All those interested in wrestling this year should attend. Any freshman that can score on Dan Martin will be given a free Huskie Wrestling T-shirt. (Coach Powell)
