Do you like acting, poetry, debate issues, news broadcasting, and more? Do you like competition? Well, come to Speech Team meetings on either Tuesday or Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Room 371. Bring a friend, no experience necessary, all are welcome! Not able to attend, stop by Room 414 before or after school and talk with Mrs. Cheney.

We have a mandatory meeting at 3:20 p.m. sharp today in Room 370. Santana will be leading a writing workshop. See Mr. Kahn in Room 375 if you have questions.

If you are interested in attending the 2009 “People to People” Leadership Summit, please see your Counselor to request nomination. Nominees must exhibit academic excellence and outstanding leadership potential. See your Counselor no later than Tuesday, September 23 for more information.
Seniors
Any senior who did not take the PSAE as a junior may use the Grade 12 PSAE retake to satisfy the graduation requirement to take the PSAE. Any senior who took the PSAE as a junior may retake the 2-day test. Pick up forms and instructions from Room 373. The deadline is today.
Juniors and interested Sophomores
If you plan to take the PSAT on Saturday, October 18, you must register for the test. Forms are in Room 373. The deadline is September 19.
AP/Triton Dual Credit Program
Students who wish to participate in the Triton Dual Credit program must register for the program. Forms are in Room 373. The deadline is September 19.
Seniors
Planning sessions with your counselors begin today and run through Thursday. A complete schedule of all Counselors’ sessions can be found in Room 207, 208 and 308. The first TestWatch TestPrep class for seniors will be held today, in Room 374, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Bring pencils and your calculator.
