French Exchange Program
Are you a Junior or Senior taking 3rd year French or Higher? You could be qualified to participate in the French Exchange Program to Paris and the South of France in the spring of 2009. Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 337. See Ms. Mazumdar for details.
CLUB CORNER
All Freshmen
All freshmen students are welcome to join the Freshman Class Council. Our next meeting is tomorrow morning at 7:20 a.m. in Room 287. We will be planning our year including: Homecoming, Pack-the-Place and Adopt-a-Family. Come be part of this leadership and service club. (M. Bayer)

Hey Huskies – We saw you at the Activity Fair last Thursday. Now let’s see you on Tuesday, September 23 for the Bio/Enviro Club meeting in Room 111 at 3:15 p.m. Help determine our course for the year. (C. McGuckin)
Chemistry Club
We will meet in Room 134 on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7:20 a.m. to make some glow in the dark slime. New members are always welcome. (C. Rulis)

The first Italian Club meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, September 23 at 7:30 a.m. in Room 381. See you there! (R. Spilotro)
I.T.S. Troupe 5405 Theatre Festival Meetings
Any theatre ITS Troupe member interested in activities for this year including attending Illinois High School Theatre Festival must attend one of two information meetings … Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 5:30 p.m. or Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. both in Room 371. These will be very short meetings to discuss upcoming events and hand out forms. Forms will be due October 3. Any questions see Mrs. Cheney.
Psychology Club
Psychology Club invites you to its first meeting of the year Wednesday, September 24 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 368. We will be discussing our exciting plans for the year and looking for your ideas, too. No psychology experience needed to join, all are welcome, always.
Scholastic Bowl
Scholastic Bowl Practice is today in Room 132 at 3:10 p.m. If you missed us at the Activity Fair, come and see what's happening in our group! All students are welcome. (M. Rubinow)
Attention Snowball
There is a meeting for anyone who wants to be a leader today after school at 3:15 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m. in Mr. Mulvaney’s room, 230. Interested students should pick up an application in Mr. Mulvaney’s room, or see Margo in Room 272, ASAP! Remember you must have either been a leader or gone on the weekend in order to lead.

There will be two brief meetings for all returning and new speech team members at 3:30 p.m. today and tomorrow in Room 371. New members are welcome, no experience necessary. Important information will be discussed. Not able to attend, but interested – see Mrs. Cheney in Room 414 before or after school.

Tuesday at 3:20 sharp in Room 370 is a mandatory meeting to be in the Fall Showcase. You need to bring your two revised poems. (P. Kahn)
