We need your help with Breast Cancer Awareness
Mr. Belpedio’s Community Service class is selling pink Oak Park t-shirts for $10 with 4 of those dollars going to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Stop by Room 301 if interested.
From the Bookstore
This Friday, October 10, is the last day you can return a book from a dropped class for a full refund. If purchased NEW, then the book must be in pristine condition. If not, then you will be refunded at 75% - the used book price. Please bring your receipt if at all possible. Otherwise it will NOT be a quick process.
Italy Trip
All students traveling to Italy this March must attend a meeting with parents on Thursday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Staff Cafeteria. Please bring all required forms! Questions see Ms. Spilotro!

We will be meeting today in Room 334 at 3:15 p.m. Remember not to forget your negatives and paper because the lab will be open for printing and processing film. (M. Carrow)

Psychology Club welcomes our own psychology professionals Margo Bristow and Gwendolyn Walker-Qualls who will lead a discussion on Teen Mental Health and Drug Issues today at 3:15 p.m. in Room 368.
ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT/SCHOLARSHIPS/OPPORTUNITIES
Juniors
There is room for a few more juniors who wish to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Saturday, October 18. To take the test, you must register in Room 373. Final deadline to register is Friday, October 10. After that time, if you have not registered to take the PSAT, we will not have test materials for you and you should not come to school on the day of the test.
SPORTS CORNER
Co-ed Intramural Softball Tournament
Register your team now for OPRF’s Co-ed Intramural Softball Tournament. The Tournament takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 21 and 22 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on the south field under the lights. Admission is free. Any student or staff can participant. Drop your team roster off at the Student Center hand your team roster to Mr. Baker or Mr. Ledbetter and show the Cubs and Sox how to get it done. Come show your Oak Park and River Forest school spirit and pride. Wanted a minimum of 4 ladies, 12 people per team. (R. Baker)
