4:00 p.m. and on Thurs. at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5 dollars.

Dudes Makin’ a Difference
Dudes Makin' a Difference will meet on Wed., Oct. 22 in Room 341 at 7:15 a.m. We’ll be holding our elections and plan our trip to Mt. Everest Restaurant in Evanston.

Halloween special part 1. Japanese “crab” is scary this week. Come and “Be Chris Ru”. (Y. Schmadeke)
Speech Team
All current speech team members stop by Room 101 either Monday or Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. for short meeting about first tournaments scheduled November 1 and 8. Remember to sign up for a minimum of 2 coaching sessions per event each week. Not a member of the team? Well, it is not too late to join Speech Team. Stop by Room 101 after school this week Monday, Tuesday, or Friday to find out more information especially if you like to act, enjoy comedy, love to talk, are interested in current event, poetry, short stories or think being a radio broadcaster might be interesting!
Theatrical Make Up
There will be short meeting this week, if you are interested in working on makeup crew for upcoming shows, learn about stage make up, hair, wigs, and more. Please stop by just outside the Little Theatre/Student Center at 3:45 p.m. on Monday or Tuesday to find out more. GodSpell make up crew will be meeting this week – show opens October 25. Stop by and see Mrs. Cheney this week either in Room 414 before or right after school OR in Green Room after 4pm.

Freshmen
Freshmen meetings with your counselors are being held this week. You should be receiving a notice of the day and period of your individual meeting. See your Counselor’s secretary to check for your appointment.
New! Test Prep Class for December ACT
TestWatch TestPrep is forming classes to prepare students for the December 13 ACT. Classes are Monday and Wednesday evenings from October 29 – December 10. Register online at www.twtp.com or pick up registration materials in Room 373.
SPORTS CORNER
Co-ed Intramural Softball Tournament
Register your team now for OPRF’s Co-ed Intramural Softball Tournament. The Tournament takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 21 and 22 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on the south field under the lights. Admission is free. Any student or staff can participant. Drop your team roster off at the Student Center or hand your team roster to Mr. Baker or Mr. Ledbetter and show the Cubs and Sox how to get it done. Come show your OPRF school spirit and pride. We need a minimum of 4 ladies, 12 people per team. (R. Baker)
Girls’ Gymnastics (Coaches Wright and Kuenster)
The Girls’ Gymnastics Team will be having a short information meeting on Tues., Oct.21 at 3:15 p.m. in the 1 East Classroom. Anyone interested or considering joining the team should attend.
Winter Sports Registration
Participation & Registration Forms and try-out Information is now available for all winter sports teams. All forms are located outside the Athletic Department Office. We will begin accepting Registration Forms in the Athletic Office today. You must also have a current physical on file in order to try-out.
