This is the last weekend and the last opportunity for you to see Godspell! Performances are: today at 4:00 p.m., Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Sat. at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre. Come see this fun & entertaining show!
I Heart Orchesis T-Shirts
Are you an Orchesis fan that wants to help support our dance company? Stop by Ms. Riner's office and buy an "I Heart Orchesis" t-shirt for $15. Wear it around school and help Orchesis promote their upcoming show! Show us some love!
Invisible Children
During lunch periods on Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7, please visit the Model UN tables outside of the South Cafeteria to have your hands traced. For $1.00 you can show your support in an effort to stop child warfare worldwide. All proceeds will go to the Invisible Children cause. (J. Silver)
Sophomore T Shirts for sale!!
Attention sophomores, come check out your class shirts! They will be on sale all next week during lunch periods. The cost is $10. We have all sizes!
Spoken Word Showcase
Tickets for our November 6 showcase will be on sale soon. They will sell out in advance. If you're considering joining the Spoken Word Club are invited to check out our meeting this Thurs. after school in Room 370. It will give you a good sense of what we do. (P. Kahn)
ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT/SCHOLARSHIPS/OPPORTUNITIES
SAT I & II
The SAT Test I & II is being administered at OPRFHS on November 1. Students must be at the front doors at 7:45 a.m. No one will be admitted without I.D. and admissions ticket.
SPORTS CORNER
Attention Girls Cross Country Runners
Our team bus for Sectionals will leave at 10 am. All team members are welcome to cheer our runners on! Get memory pages and any pictures you'd like for our slide show and booklet in to Mrs. McCabe by next Monday. Any uniforms still out need to be turned in on Wednesday, Nov. 12. See you soon! Boys’ Swimming
Open swim begins next Monday, Nov. 3 at 3:15-4:30 in the boys pool. Use this as an opportunity to start getting ready for the season which begins Nov. 24. Any questions, see Mr. Quinn in Room 431.
Co-Ed Badminton Intramurals
Sign up will take place next week Monday, Nov. 3 and Thursday Nov. 6 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the field house. Bring ID and $10. Intramurals will meet on most Monday and Thursdays.
Girls’ Basketball
Tryouts start Monday, Nov. 3 at 3:30 p.m. for all levels. In order to try out, you must have a recent physical on file and receive a blue card from the Athletic Office.
