Students interested in participating in the Summer Arctic Exploration field course must sign-up for an interview by this Thursday in Room 128. Additionally, students should have their parents attend Arctic Parent Night this Wednesday from 7 - 8 pm. Please note that this course is not open to current seniors. For more information, see Mr. Costopoulos in Room 128.
Gospel Choir Concert
Don’t miss the Gospel Choir’s first concert of the year, this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Come see your friends performance electrifying music. Tickets are only $5. We hope to see you there.
Thanksgiving Flower Sale
On Friday morning B.O S.S. will be selling full-stem carnations in the Student Center for $1.00. Money raised will pay for traditional holiday dinners for "10" needy families in our immediate area. Help make this holiday a truly thankful time for others in need. (M. Vance)
Turkey Bowl
Today is the last day to sign up for this year’s 7 on 7 charity flag football Turkey Bowl. We will accept team entry forms without the fee! Secure your spot in the tournament now and pay your entry fee prior to game 1. Also, if you are an individual player without a team, you can still sign up in Room 174. A team will be made up with all individual participants. Don't miss an opportunity to have fun and help Children's Memorial Hospital.
Turkey Morp
Come out this Friday at 7:00 p.m. for OPRF’s Turkey Morp. Doors close at 7:45 p.m. No one will be admitted after that time. Admission is $5 or only $3 if you bring a can of food to donate to families in need and your current student ID. Join in the fun this Friday.

Environmental/Biology Club
Staff and students are welcome to attend an open meeting about Rain Barrels and their potential for you and OPRFHS! We will meet today in Room 111 at 3:15 p.m. (C. McGuckin)
I.T.S. Troupe 5405 members
There will be a short, mandatory meeting on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 371 for all members attending Illinois High School Theatre Festival in January. Remember the remainder of your Festival payment is due to Mrs. Cheney no later than Monday.
Photo Club
Photo Club will meet this Wednesday in Room 334 at 3:15 p.m. We will be working on special effects with color and collage card-making. We will also be discussing our fundraising project and having open lab.
All Speech Team members
Please pick up information sheets today for this Saturday's tournament split between Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. Coaching sheets are posted by Room 101, a minimum of 2 coaching sessions per event. New members are still invited to join. Stop by and see Mrs. Cheney either in Room 414 before or after school OR stop by Room 101 after 3:30 p.m. any day to see what Speech Team has to offer.

Spoken Word Club has two open meetings this week at 3:20 pm. Today we meet in Room 314 with the legendary Avery R. Young and on Thurs., Santana leads a session in Room 370. Everyone is welcome to attend. (P. Kahn)

The season officially begins Mon., Nov. 24 with tryouts starting at 3:30 p.m. in the east pool—come ready to swim. You need a blue card from the athletic office to tryout. Any questions see Mr. Quinn in Room 431.
Girls’ Cross Country Team Members
Meet in the Faculty Cafeteria on Tuesday, Nov. 18th at 6:00 p.m. for the Awards Night Celebration. Seniors and juniors should bring salads, and sophomores and freshmen should bring desserts. Bring your parents too. Don't forget a small gift for your sister. See you soon! Coach McCabe
