French Students
Bonjour 4th and 5th year French students, application for the 2011 spring trip to France are now available in Room 337. There will be a two week deadline to apply. Come soon; see Ms. Mazumdar for more details.
Get Fit after School
The weight room and the Adaptive Gym are now open after school to all students. The weight room is open Monday thru Thursday from 3:15-4:30pm, and the Adaptive Gym is open on Tuesday and Wednesday only from 3:15 – 4:30pm.
Parking Passes
Parking passes are still available for juniors and seniors. See Mrs. Edgecombe in Room 211, passes are first come first served.

Interested in sharing your opinion about alcohol and drug use in our community and joining a committee to plan monthly events for OPRF teens at the Buzz Café? ? If so, come to an informational meeting today in the Student Activity Center after school.
Tabula Yearbook On Sale Now!
If you haven’t already bought your 2010-2011 yearbook, get to the Bookstore or go online (www.oprfhs.org) and order yours today! Sales end November 30; and when they’re over, there will not be a second chance to order. Don’t miss out! Questions? See Mr. Ganschow in Room 305.
Didn’t Buy a Yearbook Last Year, But Still Want One?
There are a few left over from last year that we need to sell! Every extra book from the last 4 years is available to buy for $60 each; any book beyond 4 years is $20. Come see Mr. Ganschow in Room 305 if you are interested in buying last year’s yearbook.

A very brief but important meeting of club officers is scheduled for today in Room 430. Meeting starts promptly at 3:15pm.
Chess Team

Independent Study
Independent study application forms for the fall semester are available in Room 373. Return your completed application to Room 373 by Friday, September 10.
Juniors: PSAT Test Prep First Class
If you registered for the ExcelEdge PSAT 240 test preparation class, you must attend a general meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Room 371, followed by the first class. While you are meeting in Room 371, an optional parent meeting will be held from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Board of Education conference room 213. Rosters for the PSAT 240 classes are posted on the door of Room 373 and in the showcase outside of Room 207.
PSAT/NMSQT Test
If you are planning on taking the PSAT/NMSQT Test on Saturday, October 16 here at OPRFHS, please turn in your registration form and $20 fee to Room 373 by September 20. (Hill)

Juniors & Seniors - Would you like to be a mentor to younger students and help them with their schoolwork? The SILC K-8 Program offers juniors /seniors the opportunity to work with students in Oak Park District 97. Applications are available in Room 373.
SPORTS CORNER
Girls’ Basketball
There will be a meeting for freshmen and sophomore girls’ interested in playing intramural basketball this Thursday at 3:30pm in the Field House balcony.
Intramurals
Come one, come all…all classes, girls and boys are invited to sign up for intramural basketball this fall from 6-7:30pm in 1 west gym, Monday through Friday. Please bring your current ID and $10. Come as an individual or come as a team. (Coach Baker)
COLLEGE CALLERS
Students must bring a College Interview Pass signed by the Counselor and the Classroom teacher. Passes are available from the Counselor secretaries in Rooms 207, 208 and 308. Please allow sufficient time to obtain the necessary signatures. The College Caller information is also available on the web page, in Naviance, and student bulletins .
