Board Meetings

Board meetings, which are open to the public, are generally held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Board Room of the high school. Open session begins at 7:30 p.m.

Board meetings generally include a closed session at 6:30 p.m. The Board is permitted by law to meet in closed sessions to discuss a variety of issues, which include, but are not limited to personnel matters (appointment, employment, compensation,discipline, performance, or dismissal), student discipline, real estate (e.g., purchase or lease of property), or bargaining unit negotiations with employees or their representatives. 

As required by the Illinois Open Meetings Act, Board agendas are posted at least 48 hours prior to the Board meeting.
