Oak Park and River Forest High School, a public four-year comprehensive high school, is located nine miles west of downtown Chicago and has a spirited student population of 3,381. We are proud of our academic achievements, our athletic accomplishments and our diverse school community. Founded in 1873, we are rich in history and tradition. "Those Things That Are Best" has been our school motto since 1908. Students choose a course of study from more than 200 courses in eight divisions, which include the traditional academic programs as well as fine and applied arts, theatre/broadcasting, technology, business education, family and consumer science, and special education.  We seek faculty and staff who have high expectations for all students, and who value student voice in education.

Are you interested in becoming a Guest Teacher (Substitute) at OPRF?  The job posting is open to accept applications twice a year, during the months of July and November.  This schedule allows for adequate interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of all new guest teachers.  Please submit an online application during this time.
