Illinois Pay Transparency Act Information

Effective January 1, 2025

The Illinois Pay Transparency Act (Public Act 103-0539) updates the Equal Pay Act to require employers with 15 or more employees to include pay scale and benefits information in job postings.  This page provides information on compensation and benefits for each employee group within our district, ensuring transparency and

Administrators and Non-Licensed Directors

●     Pay Scale:  Salary based on experience and role; see job posting for specific range.

●     Benefits Overview: 

                ○   Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance.

                ○     Board-paid portion of employee contribution to Teachers’ Retirement System or Illinois Municipal                                                            Retirement Fund, see job postings for details.

                ○     Paid leave - 15 sick days and 4 personal days accrued annually, 15-20 vacation days (depending on role) for                                        12-month administrators only.

 

Faculty

●     Pay Scale:  Faculty Senate Salary Schedule FY25 and FY26

●     Benefits Overview:

                ○     Paid leave: 15 sick days, 4 personal days accrued annually.

 

Buildings and Grounds

●     Pay Scale:  Buildings and Grounds Pay Rates FY24 - FY27

                ○     Paid leave: 13 sick days, 2 personal days accrued annually.

 

Campus Safety and Support

●     Pay Scale:  Campus Safety and Support Pay Rates FY24 - FY27

●     Benefits Overview:

                  ○     Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance.

                ○     Paid leave: 10 sick days, 2 personal days accrued annually.

 

Classified Personnel

●     Pay Scale:  Classified Personnel Association Pay Rates FY23-FY25

●     Benefits Overview:

                  ○     Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance.

                  ○     Paid leave: 15 sick days, 2 personal days accrued annually.

                  ○     Vacation days as specified in the CBA.

 

Food Services

●     Pay Scale:  Starting salary $18.00.

●     Benefits Overview:   

                ○     Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance for employees scheduled for 30 or more hours a week.

                ○     Paid leave: 10 sick days, 2 personal days accrued annually.

 

Full-time Non-Affiliated (non union) Staff

●     Pay Scale:  Salary based on experience and role; see job posting for specific range.

               ○     Paid leave: 15 sick days, 4 personal days accrued annually.

               ○     Vacation days based on years of service for 12-month employees only.

 

Substitutes

●     Pay Scale:

                ○     Day to day, per period, $30.00.

                 ○     Long term, after 20 days on assignment, $250.00 per day, retroactive to the first day of assignment.

●     Benefits:  Not eligible for district provided benefits.

 

Coaches and Sponsors

●     Pay Scale:  Co-Curricular Stipend Schedule

●     Benefits:  Not eligible for district provided benefits.

 

Part-time or Temporary Employees (not covered by CBA)

●     Pay Scale:  Based on position; see job posting for rate.

●     Benefits:  Not eligible for district provided benefits.
