2025-2026 Semester 2 Final Exam Information

Dear OPRF Students and Families, 

As we prepare for the end of the school year, here is detailed information to help you plan and navigate final exam week. 

Semester 2 Final Exam Schedule for Seniors

Seniors will take final exams during their regularly scheduled class periods on Thursday, May 21 and Friday May 22.

Semester 2 Final Exam Schedule for Underclassmen

Finals will take place Tuesday-Thursday, May 26-28, as follows:

Note: There is no advisory period during final exams. 

General Exam Information

• Teachers will inform students of the final exam format in advance of the exam days. For students with IEP or 504 plans, Case Managers will reach out directly with details regarding how and where students will access their approved testing accommodations.

• Final exam days are required student attendance days. ALL classes will meet during their scheduled examination time, including study halls and PE. Teachers will take attendance.  

  • Students unable to attend school or any class period on final exam days will be marked absent for the missed day or period(s).

  • Students who are absent from school must contact their teacher and plan to take missed exams for a date after the scheduled final exam date.

• Students must remain in the classroom for the entire 100 minutes, even if they complete activities early.

• Students with three exams scheduled on the same day will need to prepare to take all of their exams during the scheduled time. The make-up period is for students who are ill during their scheduled final exam.  

• Students are not permitted to take final exams early. Examinations must be given on the days designated in the examination schedule with the exception of those long-term assessments or projects that begin in the weeks prior to exams.

• Meals and snacks:

  • The South Cafeteria will be open from 7:15 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. for breakfast. 

  • The South Cafeteria will offer grab and go lunch for purchase during students’ scheduled lunch periods 4, 5, and 6.

  • Additionally, students may go home for their scheduled lunch period. OPRF will apply the open campus lunch procedure to all grade levels during the three exam days.

  • Snacks will be available for purchase in the South Cafeteria during the passing periods. 

  • The South Cafeteria will close at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.

• As a reminder, Gradebook in Skyward will be unavailable from 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026.
