Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians,
If you would like the merit scholarship awarded to you by your attending college/university– or any other merit scholarship that you have received – listed in the Commencement Program, you must scan a legible copy (no pictures, please) of the documentation that verifies the name of the scholarship and the amount awarded, and email this documentation to your counselor's secretary by the end of the school day on Friday, May 2, 2025. We must be able to read and verify the name of the scholarship and amount awarded. You may also bring in a hard copy of the award letter and deliver it to your counselor's secretary. Only merit-based, documented scholarships will be published in the Commencement Program (monetary amounts are not listed). Need-based awards and grants will not be published. Without a copy of the award letter, your scholarship will not be published in the Commencement Program.
We are also working with the Wednesday Journal to publish these awards in the local newspaper. REMEMBER – Friday, May 2 is the FINAL day to turn in any scholarships to be included in the Commencement Program and the Wednesday Journal. No extensions can be granted, and any scholarship documentation turned in after the end of the school day on Friday, May 2 will not appear in these publications.
