Update on Project 2 Pool Question

We’re excited about completing our new physical education facilities this fall! A common question is whether the new 25-yard x 40-yard pool will be available to the community. We have established partnerships that will continue, for instance, with the Park District of Oak Park and the West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA).

However, we’re also planning ways to expand general community use of the pool. While we have full curricular and athletic schedules that will comprise the majority of the time the pool is available, options we’re considering include Sundays, a weekday evening, periodic community open swims, and some summer hours.
