Health Careers

In our three-course Health Careers pathway, students learn about different health-related careers, how to care for patients in a health-care setting, and the fundamentals of nursing. Students who take all three courses can earn the state's College & Career Pathway Endorsement for Health Sciences & Technology on their transcript. Nursing students complete 40 hours of work experience in a health-care setting and become eligible to sit for the Illinois Nursing Assistant certification. These courses all may be taken independently without taking the whole series.
