FAQ

To guarantee you’ll receive a yearbook, make your purchase through the Jostens website no later than March 1. Be sure to write down your password for the Jostens site; you can use this same login to check your order information every year.

Search your email for a confirmation from Jostens. If you are still not sure, sign in to the Jostens website to see your past purchases.

Sometimes we receive overruns from the printer. IF we have any books to sell, they will be on a first come, first served basis at distribution. Please have $60 cash or a check written out to OPRFHS  in hand on the first day of distribution. Wait in line and once you get to the front of the line, cross your fingers and ask if there are more books left for sale.
 
In addition, we hold all purchased books for one year after distribution. If there are no extra current yearbooks for sale at this year’s distribution, you can always come back at next year’s distribution to see if there are any yearbooks that were never picked up.

All books are held at the Bookstore for one year after distribution. You can pick up your book there during regular bookstore hours.

Yes. If you miss all of the VIP photo days and are unable to visit a VIP studio, please let us know! This way we can try to get you into the book somewhere else, maybe a club, a sport, even school spirit days. We want all of our Huskies in the book!

No. Photos taken in the Attendance office are temporary photos and do not appear in the yearbook. 

No. Other options are to have your portrait taken at the VIP studio by or use the portrait taken during Schedule Pickup Week. All photos you take with VIP are available for purchase. More information about these options is available on the Senior Portraits page our website page.

Oct. 20, 2026: Deadline to have portrait taken.
Nov. 02, 2026: Deadline to select portrait for yearbook. If you don't make a selection, VIP will choose one for you.

Not during distribution week. After distribution week, you will have one year to pick up your pre-purchased yearbook in the Bookstore during regular hours. After one year, we sell unclaimed books on a first come, first served basis.

Yes. They will need to have an ID and sign that they picked it up. 

No. Students may pick up books only for themselves or a sibling. 

Yes. All personalized books are delivered by Jostens directly to the address you entered when making your purchase.

Let Jostens know your new address before May 1. Otherwise, your book WILL get delivered to the first address you gave Jostens. It will be your responsibility to pick it up from the school bookstore IF we get it returned to us by the post office.

You can either come to yearbook distribution yourself or pick it up in the Bookstore starting the week after distribution.

Yes, there is always some level of commitment outside of class.  How much depends on whether you’re interested in doing photography, writing, or design.

• Photographers probably have the biggest commitment outside of school, as they have to photograph events, sports, performances, etc.
• Writers have the second most commitment outside of school, as they have to do interviews and writing outside of school time.
• Designers have the least commitment outside of class, as they do most work during school hours.

Each type of position requires completing an application. In addition, photographers and designers must have taken at least one year of either Photo 1 or Graphic Design.

Tabula is a full-year class with two credits (one per semester).

• Photographers and designers receive Fine Art OR Applied Arts credits.
• Writers receive English elective credits, which do not count toward the requirement for four years of English.
