If you received a recent email or postcard asking you to call a toll-free number and verify/provide your current contact information - PLEASE DO RESPOND - it is not spam, it is legitimate. The number to call is (866) 589-0394 and if possible, provide the ID# in the lower right corner of the postcard.
Every 5-10 years or so the high school contracts with a publisher to compile updated information about its graduates. The last directory was published in 2012. The school does not pay for this service; the company makes money when alumni purchase copies of the directory or other merchandise. However, you are under NO OBLIGATION to make a purchase at all.
Also note that this information is completely separate from the donor and e-mail records maintained by the Alumni Association, and NO INFORMATION is shared outside of the high school. If you would like more information about the directory project, please see the notice linked HERE.
