Early Learning Center at OPRF

Philosophy:

Our philosophy is to provide participants with a safe, caring, and educational environment which can help each child to achieve his/her full intellectual and emotional potential. This foundation should provide the necessary tools for building meaningful, healthy, and productive lives.

Staff Education:

Site Director Erin Graziano has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is a former pre-kindergarten teacher. She currently is pursuing her master’s degree in early childhood special education. The majority of teachers either have a bachelor’s degree or are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. All staff attend professional development programs monthly.

Ratio:

• Infants to teacher: 4 to 1

• Toddlers and Twos to teacher: 5 to 1

• Preschooler to teacher: 10 to 1

Programs and tuition are subject to change at the discretion of the River Forest Community Center.
