OPRFHS Ireland Trip

The OPRFHS Ireland trip takes place every odd year in the month of July. For two weeks, selected students and their faculty chaperones travel to Ireland. The trip consists of two parts. First, students study the Irish author James Joyce in Dublin at University College Dublin (where Joyce went to school) at the prestigious James Joyce Summer School. Next, students travel to a location in the Irish countryside, where students experience the unique history of Ireland up close. By submitting an essay on an approved topic on Joyce upon returning home, students can earn up to three college credits for their participation in the Joyce School.
